KissNowadays we must be in a permanent digital connection, bombarding our mind and spirit of sounds, noises that come to stun us and cause high levels of stress on a daily basis.

We start with the sound of the cell phone, when the alarm goes off or when we receive messages from Whatsapp or any social network. We continue with the sound of household appliances, the distressing news that load us with anxiety and fear. And as if that were not enough, we continue with the noises of the bus, the car, the whispers of the people in the street. Everything, everything at the end of the day becomes noise, garbage, and not only because of the decibels that added together can even damage our hearing health, but also and what we want to focus on; everything is noise because it disconnects us from ourselves.

Has it ever happened to you, that you start your day with a smile on your face and a hopeful mood and during the course of the day you lose focus? It's simply because of the noise that drowns us out and we don't take time to take a break and get back on track. We don't listen to ourselves.

Today at The Quality Mind we invite you to make silence part of your life and for that we share with you some habits that will help you in that task:

  • Listening is good and necessary, but ask yourself: What do you listen to? How? and What for? learn to listen to your Inner Voice.
  • Stay in bed for 5 minutes when you wake up, no cell phone, no radio, no TV. Just you and the sound of your breathing.
  • When walking be silent, put your mind in silence, let it rest.

  • If you apply these small and simple tips, you will see immediate benefits in your emotional health, even physical; because with silence you easily achieve states of:

  • Calm
